Somewhere along the rise of technology and productivity
We grew tired of waking with the sunrise
We traded self-sustainability for proximity
And what we are for what we have: abundance and greed
Though we compromise the world
We’re learning from our mistakes
Our consequences have raised the stakes
Everybody’s nervous or in disbelief
As it gets dark the lights stay on
The rat-race clock ticks ever on
Its creatures and this city never sleep
Constant noise bounces off of the concrete
Nature’s been driven out yet we maintain a sense of community
Though we compromise the world
We’re learning from our mistakes
The time has come to make a change
Everybody’s nervous or in disbelief
We need no saviour / We need a change of pace
This city seems so dead at night
just a waste of time without you
Everything will be alright
spending all my time beside you
My favorite punk EP ever. Not a second wasted or boring. Just 15 minutes of super catchy tunes that always makes me and the wife happy!! Thanks guys DAVE ANDERSON
most modern music makers are too bland and lack creativity but the anti-queens are not most modern music makers and I listen to this album every chance I can get and I do hope I can see a live show one day neonarts
